New customer report on Sea Stars in Antarctica

Background: Sea star wasting syndrome (SSWS) has decimated starfish populations along many of the world’s coastlines, leading to major changes in community dynamics. As part of their investigation into the first-known outbreaks of SSWS in the high Antarctic, oxygen dynamics were measured at two sites close to McMurdo Station in 2023 with diver-deployed AquapHOx systems.
